About IJN College
IJN College, established in 2008, is situated at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a modern, city college, situated in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, with the main academic operations at Yayasan Selangor building, facing Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz and the administration office operates from part of IJN building itself.
Currently, IJN College offers Graduate Certificate in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Sciences, Advanced Diplomas in Cardiac Nursing, Paediatric Cardiac Nursing, Cardiac Medical Emergency, and Post-Basic in Infection Control. Apart from these programmes, IJN College offers nine Diploma Programmes- these are Medical & Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Occupational Safety and Health, Healthcare Management, Accounting, Business Administration and Human Resource Management. Currently IJN College has enrolment of a 750 students and is preparing to be upgraded to IJN University College in 2024.
The Graduate Certificate and Advanced Diplomas have produced almost 400 graduates since it started in 2008. The graduates are professionals working at various hospitals and healthcare institutions in and outside of Malaysia.
In 2024, IJN College will be offering PhD, Doctorate, Master and Degree programmes, especially in its niche areas of Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Medicine and Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, and Managerial Sciences.
