PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The Foundation in Science program in IJN College is designed as a preparatory course for students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in various scientific disciplines, such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Imaging, Optometry, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and other related fields. This program provides students with a solid academic foundation, ensuring they acquire the essential knowledge and skills required for higher education in the branch of sciences.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the programme are:
- To explain concepts, theories, and principles in the areas of fundamental sciences.
- To explain source and process data using appropriate digital/technologies in the areas of fundamental sciences.
- To analyse and apply information to solve problems in the areas of fundamental sciences.
- To develop their skills for lifelong learning and communication in responsible ways in the areas of fundamental sciences.
Entry Requirement
i. SPM with 5 credits, OR O-Level with 5 credits, OR
ii. Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 3 subjects
iii. OR Other equivalent qualifications.

1 year (3 semester)
