PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Foundation in Arts (FIA) is designed to provide students with strong theoretical and practical foundation for further studies in various disciplines such as business, management, psychology, education and social sciences. This ONE (1) year full-time program is structured into THREE (3) semester providing a well-rounded curriculum that integrates academic knowledge with essential skills development.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the programme are:
- Utilise facts to describe and discuss concepts, principles and processes in a specific field of study.
- Apply fundamental principles in the field of study to identify and solve problems.
- Conduct academic activities such as collect, analyse, organise and process data/information to make conclusions individually or in groups.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Entry Requirement
i. Pass SPM or its equivalent, with at least five (5) credits in any subjects;
ii. Pass UEC with a minimum of Grade B in three (3) subjects;
iii. Pass O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in five (5) subjects;
iv. Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
