A Day of Inspiration and Opportunity for SPM Graduates
On 19 April 2025, IJN College proudly hosted its annual Open Day at the Level 13 Auditorium, welcoming 150 SPM graduates from across the Klang Valley. The event served as a gateway for school leavers to explore future career paths in the healthcare industry and to experience firsthand what IJN College has to offer.
Special Guest: Dr. Malar (Celoteh Dr Malar)
One of the highlights of the day was a special session with Dr. Malar, better known online as Celoteh Dr Malar — a prominent social media influencer and practicing medical doctor. With her characteristic blend of humor, candor, and insight, Dr. Malar delivered an inspiring talk that resonated with the young audience.
“If you want to be an influencer, you can — but be an influencer with identity. And where does identity come from? From knowledge.”
Her message underscored the importance of education, purpose, and professionalism — especially in an era where young people are often drawn to social media fame.
Leadership Presence: A Message from the Chief Executive
Also present was Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Chief Executive of IJN College, who took the stage to share her thoughts and encouragement. She emphasized IJN College’s mission to nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals by offering industry-relevant programs and a future-focused learning environment.
