On Thursday, April 10, 2025, IJN College came alive with colour, music, and flavor as students of MPU2322 (Ethnic Relations) hosted their final project — Malaysian Culture Day — from 9 AM to 12 PM at Classroom 3–6.
This much-anticipated event was a beautiful showcase of Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage, offering students, staff, and visitors a chance to immerse themselves in traditional performances, ethnic attire, and iconic local delicacies from various communities across the nation.
Attendees were treated to a sensory experience, with traditional dance performances, interactive cultural booths, and a variety of local cuisines representing Malaysia’s major ethnic groups — Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Indigenous cultures. The event celebrated not only the uniqueness of each culture but also the harmony that binds us all as Malaysians.
Organized as part of the MPU2322 final project for the January 2025 Semester, the event provided students with a platform to creatively express their understanding of Malaysia’s cultural dynamics through art, food, and performance. It was a true reflection of the spirit of unity in diversity, a cornerstone of our nation’s identity.
