The Psychology Iftar Gathering 2025, organized by Psychesociety, the Psychology Student’s Club of IJN College, was an evening of togetherness, warmth, and resilience. Held on March 14, 2025, the event brought together 40 students and three lecturers for a special iftar experience.
A Cherished Tradition Continues
For the past two years, psychology students have upheld the tradition of gathering for iftar at Dataran Merdeka. This year was no exception. Despite the initial plans, unforeseen heavy rain led to a swift change in venue. The gathering was relocated to the basement parking lot, ensuring the event continued seamlessly.

A Night of Shared Experiences
The iftar was a collective effort, with students and lecturers bringing an array of fruits, kuih-muih, drinks, and various delicious dishes. Special recognition goes to the Psychesociety president and senior students for their quick thinking in arranging mats, ensuring a comfortable dining space for everyone.
The event was graced by the Head of Programme, Mr. Wan Ashmirullah, along with lecturers Mrs. Lydia and Mr. Shaun, who attended with his wife. The gathering welcomed students from different batches and friends from diverse backgrounds, making it an inclusive and enriching experience.
Strengthening Bonds and Building Memories
Despite the unexpected downpour, the spirit of unity and camaraderie remained unshaken. The Psychology Iftar Gathering 2025 fostered meaningful connections among students, lecturers, and friends, reinforcing the values of compassion, togetherness, and resilience.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this memorable evening. Looking forward to more events that continue to strengthen our community.
