On 27 January 2025, IJN College, in collaboration with the Student Representative Council (SRC), hosted a thought-provoking talk to commemorate Israk Mikraj. This significant event brought together students and faculty to reflect on the profound lessons and wisdom associated with this miraculous journey of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The talk, titled “Lessons & Wisdom for the People of the End Times,” was delivered by the esteemed Ustaz Mohd Rasyidi Bin Ali. As a lecturer in the Department of Sharia, Faculty of Sharia & Law, UIS, Ustaz Mohd Rasyidi brought deep insights and scholarly perspectives to the audience. His engaging delivery shed light on the timeless values and spiritual teachings of Israk Mikraj, offering guidance on how they remain relevant in navigating today’s challenges.
Adding to the significance of the event was the presence of IJN College’s Chief Executive, Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of integrating spiritual and moral growth alongside academic excellence. Her inspiring words resonated with the students, encouraging them to embody holistic values in their personal and professional lives.
