On 6 December 2024, IJN College students actively participated in the Ihsan MADANI Squad Volunteers program organized by the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia (JKM) in Tumpat, Kelantan. This impactful initiative aimed to support communities in need through hands-on efforts, showcasing the spirit of volunteerism and empathy among students.
Leading the charge were Ya’isyuddin Yusof bin Yusri Yusoff, a final-year student pursuing a Diploma in Health Management, and Muhammad Alif Najmi bin Mohd Sofian, a final-year student enrolled in the Diploma in Pharmacy. Their leadership and dedication inspired their fellow IJN College students to take part in this noble cause, further highlighting the values instilled within the college community.
The day’s activities focused on cleaning and revitalizing key educational facilities in the area. The team began their efforts at MRSM Tumpat, ensuring the premises were neat and welcoming for students and staff. Their work then continued at SMK Chabang Empat, where they contributed to improving the school’s environment.
This volunteer effort reflects IJN College’s ongoing commitment to fostering a sense of social responsibility among its students. By participating in initiatives like the Ihsan MADANI Squad, students are not only enhancing their skills but also creating a lasting impact on the communities they serve.
